Deck GlandThe type SS1 cable gland allows coaxial cable and connector to pass through the deck without leaks. It is made from aluminium with a rubber insert through which the cable passes. It is engineered to allow the cable connector, PL259, to pass through whilst attached to the cable. A choice of rubber inserts is supplied for different cable diameters from 4.5mm to 9mm. (RG8X cable is 6.4mm diameter). Comes with fixing screws and full instructions. |

Windex Wind IndicatorDavis recently introduced this complete kit that allows you to install a Windex 15" vane to your Metz whip antenna. Sailors have been doing this installation themselves for many years by taking apart a standard Windex 15" vane and installing the parts onto these kinds of antennas. The Windex AV is a much more economical way of doing this. Comes with Teflon® bearing washers, adjustable stainless tacking arms and reflectors underneath the tabs and wind vane. Reduce masthead clutter by combining two installations into one!

Metz conversion bracket for 1” mounts |
Metz conversion bracket for 1” mountsThe Metz 1” conversion bracket allows any Metz antenna to be fitted to a standard 1”, 14 tpi folding mount. This may be required for RIB and power boat applications where the antenna needs to be folded down when the boat is garaged. Comprises a stainless steel C bracket drilled to accept the Metz antenna’s SO239 connector at one end and the standard 1” threaded mount at the other. A stainless steel washer and nut is supplied to secure the conversion bracket to the 1” mount. The Metz antenna is attached to the conversion bracket using the rubber o-ring and stainless nut supplied with the antenna. |

PL259 connectors provide the connection to the SO239 socket on all marine VHF radios and into the base of the Metz VHF antenna. Top quality silver coated brass. Comes with an adapter to suit RG8X cable. Without the adapter fits RG8U and RG213 10mm cable. PL363 barrel connector, 45mm long, continuously threaded, fits the base of the Metz antenna to give more mounting options through thick surfaces such as the instrument arches on RIBs, or heavy duty stand-off brackets. Accepts a PL259 connector. Can be used to join coaxial cable through bulkheads and decks. Accepts a PL259 connector in each end. PL363 SHORT barrel connector, 29mm long, continuously threaded, fits the base of the Metz antenna and can be used to join coaxial cable through bulkheads and decks. Accepts a PL259 connector in each end. PL258 barrel connector, for joining coaxial cable; accepts a PL259 connector in each end. BNC/SO239 adapter, allows a PL259 connector to be used to connect to the BNC inlet common on AIS engines.
